the weekly Round-Up

Dear Round-Up Readers,

You may have noticed that the hertelier site went down this week…for four days!!  When people ask me what I miss about working for a big company, ummm...the IT department!? 🙄

It’s not like there’s ever a good time for a website to go down, but this week was particularly frustrating, given that we had a nice mention on Linkedin from the International Hospitality Institute.  Thankfully, we've brought some amazing tech partners on board, so hertelier is live again, and we have some bangers out this week: Stacy Silver's ALIS recap, Nancy Mendelson unpacks the E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million verdict, and inspired by witnessing a woman trying to pump in a hotel bathroom, contributor Rachel Vandenberg writes about the importance of offering nursing facilities at work (and other venues). PLUS, my takeaways from a bunch of conferences in London and meet the new GM of the Virgin Hotels New York, Denise Luna. So, scroll on down and be sure to click, click, click!

By the way, will anyone be attending the Forbes Travel Guide Summit in Las Vegas?? I'll be moderating “Women in Leadership - Cultivating the Next Generation of Hoteliers” at 2pm on February 28th and at 2:30pm on February 29th with amazing panelists: Anne Golden MI FIH, Brian McHugh, Erica Whitaker, and Shannon McCallum! Please reach out if you will be there, I would love to connect.

So much to share, let's get to the news...
