Good morning! A couple of months ago, while I was stuck at home in a cast with a broken ankle, I connected with Michael of Hot Jewish Energy. He got me to think, well, hotter (even though I'd never felt less hot at that time)! But, I'm out of the walking boot and feeling more like myself.

Michael and I are brainstorming for a hot new Hanukkah book, and I have two new cartoons for the first time in a while — one about hot "suitor superpowers" and one about reactions to Netflix's Jewish Matchmaking. Plus I've got Father's Day products, Jewish updates, and I drew actress/comedian Tiffany Haddish!

Jewish updates

Mazels! (should this be a new section?!) NY Jewish Week's 36 to Watch List came out this week. Stand Up NY owner Dani Zoldan and comedian Modi are on the list, both of whom I've doodled and interviewed!

My friends Maddie and Jason got married last night. I've doodled them a few times, first I told their love story, then doodled a Valentine's Day portrait. They met at Trybal Gatherings, a Jewish adult sleepaway camp. It was such a beautiful and fun simcha!

Sex Lives of Jewish Girls: I'm taking submissions for a sexy new doodle series inspired by the show "Sex Lives of College Girls." Let's make it Jewish 😉 Send me your crazy/hilarious/cringey stories that involve something Jewish, and maybe I'll doodle them anonymously.

Holidays: Shavuot is Friday and Saturday. Stay up all night reading Torah and eat dairy! It's also Jewish Heritage Month! The NY Public Library put together a hub with interesting content and events here.

Mitzvah or Shandah: We have a new landing page and tagline: "A conversational card game, a live event, and your new
favorite Jewish catchphrase." Thank you Annaliese Bronz, who helps me with web stuff and outreach and designed this page! My goal is to book more shows this year, so I needed this. It looks amazing, check it out!

If you can't get enough of the show, The Cut wrote a nice article about Jewish matchmaking - the show and the concept. And I attended an event Wednesday hosted by Aleeza featuring most of the cast, recap here by NY Jewish Week.
