CASA de Esperanza de los Ninos and AXiD

Alpha Xi Delta's National Philanthropy  is called the "Kindly Hearts Campaign (KHC)." Our Collegiate Chapters and Alumnae Associations across the nation are creating project plans within one or more of the following areas of focus: supporting students, food insecurity, and basic needs shortages.

Houston has selected CASA de Esperanza de los Ninos which strives to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect for at-risk infants, children and their families by providing comprehensive residential and family support programs that transform people and communities.

We will be online with CASA de Esperanza on January 22

10am-12noon

for a virtual tour and Q&A session.

Our Founders Day Celebration will be in person and back at Brennan's.

AXiD Scholarship

Last year we started a special Alpha Xi Delta Scholarship to be awarded at the HAPA/HAPF Scholarship Luncheon each year.

Will you help to build our fund?

Since its inception in 1987, the HAPF Scholarship Fund has awarded 572 scholarships, totaling $983,600.00, to women enrolled in accredited colleges and universities across the country.  $61,300 was awarded to 23 collegians in May of 2019.  Originally designed for residents of Harris County, in 2021 the scholarship will be opened for residents of the Greater Houston area.  Often this financial aid makes the difference for many young women, enabling them to continue their college education.
