Hey there!

I hope your transition into summer is going well, my friends. We kicked it off with a family camping trip to a state park and had a wonderful time enjoying each other's company in the midst of God's natural beauty. There's something magical about His sunsets over open water, isn't there?

Got kids heading off to summer camp? I've gotten some of my best crafting and in-depth Bible studies done while the boys were off on a scouting adventure or church camp. You might be interested in this Explore the Word collection to do your own little summer camp while they're away!

This collection is currently being offered at its lowest possible price ($29) but after Friday the price is raising permanently, so I wanted to tell you about this deal while it lasts! This is an excellent value, featuring video workshops from great Bible teachers, creatives, and ministry leaders from across the country. It's worth checking out!

Aaaaand.... you can do a BQ page to summarize what you're learning along the way!

We've jumped right into June to explore a bunch of scripture related to God's grace.

30 Days of Grace

Several of these verses are fitting well into my Men for Christ template in the BQ Calendar. What are you doing for yours this month?

Now that I'm out of my jammies for church services, I'm tucking my BQ Notes journal in to take notes during the service.

How's it going for you? What "system" of note-taking do you use??

We got rained out last week, but we're trying again!

Our next IN-PERSON BQ session:

Tuesday at the Turquoise Table, June 22nd 9-11 am

We'll roll right into the regular Zoom chat so that we can visit with our long-distance BQ peeps, too!

BQ Zoom Chat:  Tuesday, June 22nd 11-11:30 am central

It will be a full morning of fun! Hope to see you one way or another!

ABC Bible Quilt Journal

We're finishing up our first round of the alphabet this month, covering W, X, Y, and Z. Some of these are kinda tricky - see this post for helpful hints.

W is for...    X is for...     Y is for...     Z is for...

Summer has a different "busy" flavor than the rest of the year. Hope you find some ways to linger in His Word as you navigate all the different activities.

Blessings and hugs, Di

P.S. Since we've got several new folks joining us, I'm going to tag on some posts and Zoom chats from the Archives. You might find a few inspirational nuggets in these:

Chasing Quiet: Day 21 - Path to Rest

I'm grateful for hikes in God's glorious nature that provide opportunities for our family to knit back together a little tighter. Our hikes gradually fuse into a family collective of happy memory fibers that have weaved through the boys' various developmental stages and threaded deeply into their childhood narratives.
