Health tip of the month

Drink warm water - Avoid cold drinks

If you put cold water in your coffee, your coffee gets cooler. Same goes for your stomach.

To be able to function at his full potential, the stomach needs to be (and stay) at 37,6 degrees.

Today's Acupuncture point: Nei Guan (Pc-6)

In the middle and inside of the forearm, 3 fingers from the wrist, between the two tendons.

This is a major point to relieve stress, calm the mind, suppress nausea, and relieve epigastric pain. This is one of the best point for restoring balance between the body and mind.

Press into the point with your opposite thumb, do 3 circles, release the pressure. Repeat (pressure - rotation - release), 3 to 5 minutes.

Great to do just before an exam or an interview (helps to calm down), in case of motion sickness, or if emotional breakdown occurs.
