Fighting Food Waste with Watauga High School |
We are tackling food waste head-on in an exciting collaboration with Watauga High School! Here's how it works: students are encouraged to choose a piece of fruit during lunch. If they are not in the mood for an apple or orange, they can donate it to the baskets in the cafeteria. Once a week, we gather these generous donations and ensure they find their way onto our shelves, ready to nourish those in need. It's a simple yet impactful way to reduce waste and support our community. Thank you to James Priest from Watauga High School for his instrumental role in getting this initiative off the ground. And let's not forget Kayla, who boldly donned an apple costume to spread the word! |

Thank You to Modern Subaru! We are ecstatic to announce a generous donation from Modern Subaru of Boone! Their annual Subaru Share the Love event directs proceeds from car sales to our mission. This contribution will immediately fund a month's worth of fresh produce for our neighbors in need. Huge thanks to Modern Subaru for their ongoing support! |

Help Make A DifferenceTransform a family's life today with just $25! Your generous donation can provide nutritious meals for a family for two weeks, offering them sustenance and hope for a brighter, healthier future. Every contribution counts in our mission to combat hunger and promote well-being. Donate now and make a meaningful impact! |
