Strada Easel Challenge - to paint from life, not from a photo or imagination, every day throughout January and ‘post’ each painting daily on Instagram. |

Over 1000 artists worldwide took to their easels on the 1st January 2024. For me, self-appointed Queen of Procrastination, creating so many paintings in one month was quite a struggle – but 895 of us, made it to the finish line. Practice is never wasted, I learned a lot and it was amazing to connect with so many other artists in different time-zones across the world for one big shared endeavour. |

Sketches For Charity Thank you. Your daily encouragement & Instagram-likes were so much appreciated and have inspired me to add a 'Sketches for Charity' page to my website. |

Some sketches from the challenge & a collection of other informal work on paper will be for sale. All at affordable prices and most importantly, 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Age UK - a wonderful charity providing advice and support for the elderly and their carers. |

Oxford Art Society Members’ Exhibition - 22nd March-8th April 2024 Kendrew Barn, St John’s College, St Giles, OX1 3JP · The venue is a lovely setting in the centre of Oxford, with plenty to see and well worth a visit & as a new member, I am really looking forward to being involved. |

Broadway Arts Festival Mystery Masterpiece Auction showcasing British artists while helping to raise funds for the Festival, school outreach programmes & local students arts bursaries. Bidding is OPEN NOW & closes at 8pm on the 17th March. 80 artists have donated work. There are some lovely pieces and all profits go to a good arty cause. |

I can’t quite believe that I that I have finally completed the ‘four year’ Diploma programme (longer for part-timers!) at Edinburgh Atelier and will soon be a 'school-leaver'. I have learned such a lot. The studios feel like home and I will so miss the entire atelier family and ‘vibe’ of the place. But, I am really looking forward to investing more time to create new work in the studio (& less time on trains!) - so watch this space. |
