Hey Friends!

It's hard to believe it's almost November and

The Destined Divines has been out in the world for two weeks now. Reviews continue to come in. I'm so thankful to everyone who has picked it up. <3 Once you've finished reading it, please consider leaving a review, because reviews help the right readers find my book. <3

Thank you again to my wonderful ARC readers & ARC team! I sincerely appreciate your support!

If you're new to my writing journey or haven't gotten a chance to check out the book yet, here's what some readers are saying about it.

Book 2

During NaNoWriMo this year I'm working on book two of the Divine Witches Duology. However, I'm a bit of a rebel this year, because I've already started drafting it. So far I have 26k written.

I hope to finish it in November and send it to my CPs in December. I'll continue to keep you posted on it.

I'm also trying something different with book mapping. A while back, I did a book map on paper to help me color code and see the two POVs. Unfortunately, some things have changed so I need to redo it. So I decided to try it in Excel again, but differently than I have in the past.

In the picture above, I've made columns to represent

each act of the story. Act 1, Act 2A, Act 2B, and Act 3.

I plan to fill out the columns by using the plot points I have on my sheet of paper and color coding it for the two POVs, but I'll also add in the changes. This way, if I need to change or move anything around later on, I can.

So in a way you could consider this a skeleton outline. But I'm mainly using it to keep track of the two POVs with each story beat and the timeline.

If you'd like to try book mapping (a bird's eye view of your story), check out the TWO FREE templates

on my website.

October

In October, I read the last episodes of Brittany Wang's fantasy serial On Wings of Ash and Dust and highly recommend this fantasy adventure serial. I also really enjoyed Sorcery of Thorns.
