Our workshops are focused on two themes -- policy and action -- and include topics ranging from the Green New Deal to food justice to restoring biodiversity. WATCH THE MARCH 30x30 WORKSHOP RECORDING The summit’s past March workshop focused on the goal of 30x30, protecting 30% of the world’s ocean by 2030. It featured Sarah Hameed of the Marine Conservation Institute, a California-based organization focused on California's MPAs (Marine Protected Areas). The workshop highlighted the intersections between climate change and ocean protection, since restoring and protecting coastal wetlands are critical to combating climate change in California. |   | |
