We hope this update finds you and your loved ones in good spirits and good health. In order to continue to support our community and stay true to our mission, we are going to proceed with our April meeting with some modifications and options for all. Please read below for details and next steps...and we can't wait to see everyone again in person at our July meeting. #WeAre100Together |

Meeting Details: Monday, April 13th meeting will begin at 7 pm and be virtual via zoom (details will be emailed and provided in evite) and will last 30 minutes. We will hear from Elderday about our January donation. Optional Donation Details: Donations are optional this quarter - we recognize some members may not be able to contribute their usual amount (or any amount) and that's ok. For those who can, we've created a special link for your donation this quarter - if you can donate $100 great, if you can donate $10 that's ok too, if you want to skip this quarter, no problem...we're leaving the amount up to you. Click below to make your donation via the special link that The Community Foundation created for us (thanks Julie!). #WeAre100Together |

Nomination Details: In order to make a greater impact quickly to several NFPs in need, we have elected to donate all funds from this quarter to the Fox Valley Grantmakers COVID-19 Response Fund. The Fund is designed to provide rapid-response grants to nonprofit organizations in our community who need critical funding to maintain operations and support the increased demand for services during this pandemic. As of April 1st, applications are live for this special grantmaking program. Nonprofits in the greater Fox Valley region (Greater Aurora Area, TriCities, Kendall County) will be considered for funding. While this fund will not make direct grants to individuals, we will be awarding funding to nonprofit organizations that provide financial assistance to individuals. - Nonprofits can apply for operating, program, or capital needs that are in demand because of the COVID-19 pandemic, including technology needs of agencies who are serving clients while sheltered in place.
- Preference will be given to requests meeting basic human needs of residents in our community, including but not limited to food, shelter, safety, health, mental health.
- The average anticipated grant award will be between $1,000 - $20,000.
The steps are simple: - Nonprofits will need to complete a brief online application detailing their needs.
- A committee will review the applications as they are received on a weekly basis.
- Nonprofits will receive a response within two to three weeks of their submission of a request.

Support Our Sponsors! We are grateful for all of our sponsors who have generously opened their space to host our meetings, donated raffle prizes, and promoted our mission. We will be spotlighting our sponsors throughout the coming weeks via email and social media spotlights - keep an eye out and please do consider them if you are looking for a gift, a meal, or simply want to support them in some way. Please do them a favor and like and share our posts as we share details about their business hours and offers during this time. #WeAre100Together |
