How We Win! Message from the Chair For the past year, I’ve been out talking to voters and any group that will have me, about ways Republicans can and will win this year! We do it by talking about issues that matter to Coloradans and taking meaningful action. As we head into this election season Republicans across the state are focused on three things that matter to Coloradans - affordability, education and public safety. Colorado has the highest auto theft crime rate in the Country, our out-of-control inflation is even worse than the national average and many of our schools have prioritized teacher's unions over our kids. We can take meaningful action by working to get our candidates elected, safeguarding our elections by serving as an election judge or poll watcher and by voting ourselves and our neighbors out to vote. On that note, I want to pass along huge thanks to John Lamb first for responding to all those interested in serving and then assembling and organizing our list of volunteer election judges—last week he turned in 290 appointees (triple what we have had in past years). This means that there will be a Republican party appointee on each bipartisan team of election judges in Arapahoe County for every election activity. Such an overwhelming response this year shows the momentum we have going into the election season. It also means that we will do everything we can to insure your vote will count. Although the deadline for applications for election judge has passed, we are still actively recruiting Poll Watchers. If you are interested, click here to go to our website and apply. We will have lots of information coming up about candidates and opportunities for meet-and-greets where you can find out where they stand on issues important to you. Please click here to see our website calendar for these events. As the motto of our updated newsletter encourages, Connect - Engage - Strengthen; my hope is that you choose to be actively engaged and volunteer to assist a candidate and/or an issue you think can make a difference. That makes us all stronger. Thanks everyone! Suzanne Suzanne Staiert, Chair Arapahoe County Republican Party We are the Party that embraces the individual. Every individual. The momentum is building. You can see it. You can feel it. |

Stephanie Hancock Candidate for Colorado House District 41 |
|
|
I’d like to introduce myself - I’m Stephanie Hancock. I'm a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an Air Force veteran, a business owner, the President of the Aurora Cultural Arts District Board, a musician, and a faithful follower of Christ. I look forward to representing all the residents of District 41 in the Colorado House of Representatives. As such, I promise the following: - To work hard to earn your vote of confidence in the November election and beyond;
- To work with all who believe in reducing crime and creating safe and vibrant neighborhoods;
- To fight to return our children's excellence in reading, writing, science, and math. To do so requires strong parental involvement in their learning and engagement in the education system;
- To champion the development of a strong and prosperous middle class that encourages entrepreneurship and home ownership;
- To promote good stewardship of Colorado's natural resources. This includes the development of energy independence through innovative and wise utilization of all forms of energy. I promise these things because I believe they help assure that future generations will be able to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I ask for your support and to partner with me in my run for State Representative House District 41. Stephanie Hancock Candidate for Colorado State Representative House District 41 |

We Have a Better Vision for the Future Anne Rowland - Vice Chair Arapahoe County Republican Party |
|
|
One of my main jobs as Vice Chair for the Arapahoe County Republican Party is talking to people. I answer voice messages and respond to emails that come to the Party. Over the last year, I’ve heard a consistent message. People are mad, and people are scared. They want somebody to do something to save our state and save our country. They want Republicans to do something. The Republican Party - whether you’re talking about Arapahoe County, the State of Colorado or the Republican National Committee - has told the public that we are strong leaders. The time has come for us to prove it. Republicans have a better vision for the future on many important issues: - We support the oil and gas industry, especially here in Colorado where they provide good paying jobs. Thanks to President Biden, our nation is no longer energy independent. Our gas and electric prices are skyrocketing and our own Colorado Governor has made the fuel crisis even worse for Coloradans by crushing our state's fossil fuels development and production, killing thousands of good paying jobs, erasing millions of dollars of state revenue and severely damaging our economy.
- We support our police officers and want to provide better training and resources. Democrat policies such as “Defund the Police” have done nothing but cause crime to become out-of-control and put everyone's safety at risk. Colorado has historically enjoyed a low crime rate, however, since Governor Polis took office, Colorado now ranks as having the fifth fastest growing crime rate in the nation with the additional dubious honor of experiencing the highest rate of auto theft in the entire US.
- We want to reclaim confidence in our election process by auditing, updating and purging ineligible voters from the rolls. Want transparency in the process? Our own John Lamb has just submitted 290 names to serve as Election Judges to the Arapahoe County Clerk’s Office.
Republicans have better ideas about how to deal with the fentanyl crisis, the border crisis, homelessness, the economy, our children's education, freedom of speech, individual rights, right to life…you name it. Many of us got involved in politics because we are passionate about specific issues that impact us, our families and generations to come. We want to make meaningful positive change for our State and our Country. This only happens if we get Republicans elected in November. We must prove we are better leaders by not only promoting the best ideas, but also by pulling together as a group and doing the work to get our great candidates elected. You can help with our effort! Join a candidate’s Team! Sign up on the website to volunteer! There are many opportunities for you to join our fight for liberty! Warm regards, Anne Anne Rowland, Vice Chair Arapahoe County Republican Party |

Introducing Jaylen Mosqueira, New Arapahoe Republicans Field Director My name is Jaylen Mosqueira, and I want to introduce myself as the new Field Director here in Arapahoe County. I grew up in this community, shaped by a strong family, strong values, and a strong community. Raised in two small family-owned businesses, I witnessed the importance of hard work and service. I have a seasoned background in the world of politics, working as a field director for several statewide and congressional campaigns, running field operations for numerous ballot initiatives, and consulting candidates at different levels. In addition, I spent the last three years working as an Aide for several state Representatives and Senators. This knowledge and experience will allow me to work with all of our candidates to ensure they have the support and insight they need to run effective campaigns and regain leadership here in Arapahoe County. I will be working with candidates to build effective campaign strategies, communicate with voters, generate data, and bridge the gap between campaigns and our volunteers. I will be a resource for candidates and their teams across the county. My job is to unite Arapahoe County for our shared goal of defeating Democrats in November. I am also your Republican candidate for Colorado House District 38. Colorado has always previously taken the lead to ensure our communities cultivate opportunity and prosperity for families throughout our state. Unfortunately, our communities are feeling left behind by our current elected leaders. I am running because the people in House District 38 deserve better. They deserve to feel safe in their homes, they deserve to have an education system that works for their children and they deserve to live in a community that promotes and helps their families thrive, not just survive. They deserve someone from their community who wants to take the time to fight for their community. I look forward to serving in both capacities. We have an opportunity this election to greatly impact the well-being of our communities and regain leadership for our future. I invite your thoughts and questions. You can reach me at jaylenforcolorado.com. Let's go Win! |
