The New Issue of Your Hunter Valley Magazine is Out Now!
To say Hunter Valley Wine Country has been booming these past weeks since the lockdown was lifted would be an understatement according to most operators in the Valley. Regional travel has seen our accommodators full, not just on weekends but also midweek. It’s heart-warming to see businesses who have suffered so much this year – bushfires followed by a global pandemic (who would have thought!) – getting back into the swing of things and welcoming visitors to our region.
This month we chat to Damien Stevens and Jodie Belleville, owners of the boutique family-owned wine label Hart & Hunter. Who established Hart & Hunter with the aim of producing premium single-vineyard wines that represent provenance. Get in touch with the full cover story on page 12.
With the long weekend coming up at the beginning of October, it seems timely to remind visitors this Spring to pre-book as much as you can to avoid disappointment. Check out some of the fabulous restaurants and cellar doors in this months issue and give them a call to book. Tell them we sent you!
Towards the end of this month we ‘welcome’ the October School Holidays and with them the resurgence of the Dinosaurs in the Hunter Valley. Venture into Hunter Valley Gardens (if you dare!) for Australia’s largest animatronic bugs, dinosaurs and dragons, getting you up close and personal with a great variety of enormous insects and roaring monsters. Read more on page 10.
Whatever you do – get out and about in the Hunter this Spring and enjoy everything our beautiful region has to offer.
