At Liquid Intrusion Brewing Company, Black History Month and Women’s History Month are especially meaningful as a black-owned brewery founded and operated by a dedicated husband-and-wife team. These months are a time to reflect on and celebrate our unique contributions to our community and the craft brewing industry. Our journey is one of resilience, innovation, and passion, embodying the spirit of these commemorations. Through our efforts, we strive to create a space that honors our heritage and enriches our community by promoting diversity, inclusion, and excellence in every brew we craft. We held 20 Events in 29 Days in February!🤯 Despite the challenges of not having a permanent physical location, we successfully hosted 20 events across Maryland and Washington, D.C. during the 29 days of February. These events ranged from beer tastings and tap takeovers to community forums and panel discussions. We proudly celebrated Women’s History Month by honoring the incredible achievements of women in our industry, especially highlighting our very own Jasmine. As co-founder and co-owner and an integral part of our brewery’s success, Jasmine embodies the strength, resilience, and innovation that Women’s History Month stands for. Her passion and leadership inspire us all and drive our commitment to excellence and community engagement. Women in Craft Beverage Panel Guests and attendees got to meet, greet, ask questions, and have a more personal connection than a traditional panel to an awe-inspiring curated collection of panelists, composed of 9 women and non-binary individuals. This event was hosted by Brandy Nicole Holder of DC Beer. Thank you for being the legendary hostess with the mostess! There are so many roles women fulfill in craft beer, with insufficient representation. The goal was to walk away from the evening having reciprocated inspiration and providing knowledge to those interested in the industry. 2024 Powerful Panelist Line-up: Jaime Windon. Announcing Our Capital Raise for a Brick-and-Mortar Location! As a black-owned brewery, we have faced unique challenges and triumphs. One significant hurdle has been navigating the complexities of contract brewing. We are very appreciative of the services that our contract brewery provides us. That relationship has allowed us to bring our unique and flavorful liquids to you, it also comes with limitations on production control and scalability with the volume that we want to produce. Today, we are excited to announce a legendary big step in our journey: we are embarking on a capital raise to establish our very own brick-and-mortar location right here in Prince George’s County, MD! At this time, we are actively seeking private investors to join us in making this dream a reality. For more information, please complete the Google form. Why Prince George’s County? As Prince George’s County’s first black-owned brewery, choosing Prince George’s County for our permanent home was an easy decision. This vibrant and diverse community is one of the most affluent African American counties in the United States, and it has always been a cornerstone of our success. The county’s rich culture and strong support for local businesses make it the perfect environment for us to grow and thrive. With a brick-and-mortar location, we will have the opportunity to create a welcoming space for craft beer enthusiasts to gather and enjoy our liquid and vibe. The Benefits of Our Own Space: Enhanced Quality Control: Owning our facility will allow us to have complete control over our brewing process, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every batch. Increased Production Capacity: We’ll be able to scale up our operations to meet the growing demand for our liquids (did someone say Plum Basil Farmhouse Ale?) Community Hub: Our legendary location will be more than just a brewery; it will be a community hub where we can host events, tastings, and gatherings that celebrate culture. Economic Impact: By investing in Prince George’s County, we are contributing to the local economy, creating jobs, and supporting other prominent and giving a platform to start-up local black-owned businesses.
We are incredibly excited about this next chapter and the endless possibilities it holds. As we embark on this capital-raising journey, we invite private investors to join us. Your support has been invaluable, and we look forward to sharing this dream with you every step of the way.

New Liquid Limited Releases |
|
|
We are thrilled to announce the debut of some exceptional draft-only limited-release liquids that you won’t want to miss. These special brews will be featured at select festivals and events while supplies last, so keep an eye on our social media channels and future newsletters for updates on when and where we will be pouring them. If permitted, we will fill growlers. Freedom's Promise West Coast IPA (6% ABV) Brewed with 100% Mosaic Hops, This liquid’s name combines the historical significance of Juneteenth with the idea of a bright future full of promise and potential. The name embodies hope, celebration, and a nod to the enduring impact of emancipation. We do not anticipate this liquid to be around long after Juneteenth. What's My R.O.I.? – Hazy IPA (7.5% ABV) This Double Dry Hopped New England IPA is born from our capital-raising endeavors and inspired by the pivotal question that drives us: What's the return on investment? This beer is not just a drink; it's a story of ambition, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. With each sip, you'll experience a symphony of tropical and citrus notes, balanced perfectly with a smooth, hazy finish. It’s a testament to our journey and a toast to the future. Bock to Basics – Doppelbock (6.5% ABV) A Doppelbock that brings us back to the fundamentals of great brewing. Pouring a deep mahogany hue with a creamy tan head, this beer is a feast for the senses. The enticing aromas of toasted bread and caramelized malt draw you in, while the first sip reveals a robust malt backbone with notes of caramel, toffee, and roasted nuts. Balanced by a subtle sweetness and a touch of noble hop bitterness, “Bock to Basics” is a classic take on the Doppelbock style that celebrates tradition while delivering a rich, flavorful experience.
Upcoming Collaborations Juneteenth In collaboration with the Town of Herndon, Virginia, Black Brew Movement and Bitter Fruit Brewing proudly present their second annual Juneteenth celebration! Iron Simms, a 6.5% Peach Chamomile Saison, pays homage to Mr. Henry Simms who, after winning his freedom, became a blacksmith and one of the first Black Business owners in Herndon, VA. All of the legendary black-owned breweries in the DMV had a hand in crafting the ingredients and yours truly was appointed the responsibility of working with the fine folks of Dynasty Brewing in Ashburn, VA to build and brew the recipe. Barrel and Flow We have something legendary in the works for Barrel & Flow. We are excited to collaborate with the Legendary Brewsing Banter Podcast and our contract brewery, Oliver Brewing Company. Artwork will be provided by Baltimore, MD native, Phil the Artist. Be sure to give everyone a follow on their social media platforms. Autumn Arch Beer Project Autumn Arch Beer Project is a small-batch, experimental brewery in Newark, Delaware specializing in deep flavor profiles, edgy bitterness, and complex relationships. In December, we collaborated on a Peach Bourbon Barrel Stout that has been aging in a 15-year-old George Dickle Barrel set to release around Black Friday. This liquid should be ringing in around 12% ABV with legendary complex flavors. This liquid is 1 of 5 collaborations that Autumn Arch is doing this year to celebrate their 5th anniversary. This liquid will be available for purchase at Autumn Arch Beer Project, and possibly on draft at select accounts in Maryland. You never know when another collaboration is in the works, but we will surely let you know the deets!
