January 2023

voices from the ground

We, at Looking the occupation in the eye, contact you regarding the ongoing oppression and denial of Human Rights in the Occupied Territories carried out by the State of Israel, its Security Forces and the illegal settlers in the west bank. As the situation worsens daily in front of our eyes, we increase our efforts to deliver information about life under the Israeli occupation.

In this January newsletter you will find articles about two activists, one Palestinian activist in Silwan, and an Israeli activist who is accompanying Bedouin and Palestinian shepherds in the Jordan Valley. All the rest of the posts in this newsletter focus on the Palestinian neighborhoods of East Jerusalem.

You’ve received this newsletter because you are a subscriber of our site. If you feel you received it by error or wish to unsubscribe, please click the link at the bottom of this newsletter.

With the hope for a better future for those living between the Jordan River and the sea.
