The SBA New Hampshire District Office recognized 2021 leading lenders in a virtual ceremony on December 14, 2021, and named REDC the Microlender of the Year. REDC offers Microloans to small New Hampshire businesses, ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. |

"A pillar for us this year will be ensuring that the smallest of the small businesses and nascent businesses get equal access to capital," stated SBA New Hampshire District Director Amy Bassett. "This is difficult work at times and many of these financing deals take a significant amount of work to pull together, yet they aren’t big loans. We know it is sometimes difficult for traditional lending institutions to be able to approve these and we are very fortunate to have a strong microlending partner in Regional Economic Development Center. Laurel and her team are doing some amazing work helping the smallest of the small and businesses owned by people of color gain greater access to capital. Thank you Laurel and you’ll definitely be seeing more of us this year." |
