Join Us For Voter Registration Training |
The Florida Democratic Party has an ambitious goal of registering 200,000 new voters before the November 2020 election. Okaloosa Democrats are doing their part. We are registering voters at festivals, fairs, colleges, and businesses throughout the county. If you’d like to help, come to Voter Registration Training on Saturday, September 14 from 3-4pm at our office in Shalimar. If you’re an old pro at voter registration, consider joining us for a tune-up. The Florida Democratic Party has issued new guidelines. We are now permitted to do partisan voter registration which means we can make a case for registering as a Democrat to any potential new registrant. Come learn how! Please RSVP here so we know you’re coming. And bring a friend! |

Calling All Candidates The Florida Democratic Party (FDP) is hosting a FREE training for candidates and potential candidates. The Blue Bench Training will be conducted by the National Democratic Training Committee and will focus on the fundamental aspects of running a campaign including fundraising, messaging, digital communications, and field operations. Party leaders and campaign staff are welcome as well. The training is part of the FDP’s Municipal Victory Program, which was established to identify and support Democratic candidates, especially at the local level. City Council elections for Destin, Cinco Bayou, Mary Esther, and Valparaiso will take place in March 2020, along with the Presidential Primary. Lots of Democrats will be going to the polls. We can take advantage of this to get Democrats elected and build bench strength in Okaloosa County. Please help us spread the word, especially to people who may be considering running or who you feel would make good candidates. Details are as follows: |
