Next month is shaping up to be one of our busiest yet. We invite you to take a look at our newsletter to see what we've been up to and what's on the horizon. Our previous newsletter was a bit of an experiment as we aim to strike the right balance between sharing enough information and not overwhelming you. It's possible we'll send out newsletters more frequently, especially when we have a lot to share, but our main aim is to keep you informed. With more workshops and projects in the pipeline, we want to make sure we give them the attention they deserve so that everyone can plan accordingly. Warm regards, Hazlehurst Studios |

Interested in the outcomes of our workshops? Visit our blog to discover what we've been involved in! You'll find all the links below this section. From Pottery Painting to Urban Sketching, Street photography, and the Men's Sewing Group, all of these have sessions scheduled for November (with the exception of pottery painting, which is in December and rapidly selling out!). |

Hazlehurst Studios Development |
|
|
In March, we shared a brief update on our journey to expand Hazlehurst Studios into 71 High Street. As we continue to grow and attract a new audience, it's essential to maintain this dialogue. You can find the full blog post titled 'Welcome to 71 High Street' for further information. In July 2021, it was announced that £23.6m had been allocated from the Town’s Fund to deliver the Runcorn Town Investment Plan – Reconnecting Runcorn. Reconnecting Runcorn is an ambitious set of seven projects that collectively will improve the lives and livelihoods of local people and boost the local economy. They want to invigorate and enhance the connections locally, through improved training and economic opportunity, enhanced transport links, housing and environmental improvements, and upgraded visitor attractions. Creative and Digital Skills Centre will be a new skills facility on the high street providing, especially young people, access to creative and digital play, learn, and training for future employment opportunities. Hazlehurst Studios is thrilled to be a part of this ongoing redevelopment. You will notice that we mention this frequently over the next few years. Our involvement in these projects has enabled us to expand into 71 High Street and enhance our organisation and support our artists. This entails investing in new equipment, creating fresh workshops, and providing opportunities for local residents to engage in creative and cultural initiatives. If a workshop is funded through this specific funding stream, it will be clearly indicated, and these workshops will only be accessible to Halton residents. |

If you want to help out local artists, buying their stuff is a great way to do it! Some of our artists have online shops where you can shop all year round. We'll be featuring this in our newsletter regularly. And hey, if you prefer the in-person experience, come on down to our Open Days. You can snag cool items from artists who aren't selling online. The next one is on Thursday, December 14th, and it's totally free to attend. Just follow this link to book your spot. |
