Volunteer of the Month!

Every month, we will be recognizing the efforts and contributions of our

most outstanding volunteers!

The Volunteer of the Month Award for July goes to..... Sydney!

This is Sydney's first time volunteering with the City of Ottawa at the Richcraft Recreation Complex. She volunteered over 100-hours of her time in July, helping with our rock climbing, glee, drama, and swimming camps.

Sydney started as a quiet volunteer that was unsure of how to help in camps, but quickly gained confidence and is now great at helping staff get the group organized, as well as other duties. Sydney has also shown excellent compassion and kindness towards our campers, including an occasion when she wore a lifejacket during the camp swim time in order to help a child feel more comfortable.

Congratulations and great job Sydney!

Registration for Fall and Winter programs opens on August 14!
