GREETINGS CCCHS!

We look forward to seeing you all at our next membership meeting on Wednesday, February 6th at 12pm at Calvary Church in Boalsburg.

As we move into the new year, a friendly reminder that it's time to renew your council membership. Memberships are $65 for organizations and $20 for individuals. We're proud of the strong network of human service agencies that are represented within council and would love to see membership continue to grow. We can accept new members at any time; however, if any agency wishes to recognize a volunteer at the Rose Cologne Volunteer dinner, membership applications must be submitted on or before February 28, 2019. You can access the membership form on the Council website,www.theccchs.org, under the "membership" tab.

The annual Rose Cologne Volunteer Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The dinner is an opportunity to pay tribute to the volunteers who work to further the mission of CCCHS member agencies. We hope many of you can join us at the dinner to recognize the volunteers and the work they do!

Hope to see you all at our monthly membership meeting on February 6th!

AAAUW State College Welcomes Book Donations Through March 13

Wednesday, March 13 will be the last day that AAUW State College will accept books for their Annual Used Book Sale on May 11-14 at the Penn State Snider Ag Arena.

Thanks to generous community donations, members have now culled, sorted, and priced over 3,000 boxes of books for the sale! Working at this pace, we’re on track for another great sale and will bring over 4,000 boxes to the sale again this year. It’s a wonderful indication of our generous community book donors and the almost year-round efforts of book workshop volunteers to get the books culled, sorted, priced and boxed.

Book donations are welcome 24/7 in the blue donation bins at the top of the driveway, and at the door (preferred) during workshop hours.

Donations may be made directly at the door at 176 Technology Drive, Boalsburg, during workshop hours:

Mondays, 6:00—8:00 pm, and Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 am—2:30 pm.

Books also may be placed in the blue donation bins in the driveway.

We are excited to announce registration for the 2019 Super Fair of Centre County Community Resources is going very well.

This email is to encourage agencies to register now rather than waiting; it is first come first serve until we get to 100 vendors! At 100, we are full!

This year, the Super Fair will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nittany Mall!

Again this year, registration for vendors is free of charge. As part of the registration, as in the

past, you will be required to submit a copy of your company's insurance certificate prior to the event (this can be sent later and is not required for registration); information on submitting the certificate can be found on the registration form.

The last day to register as a vendor will be Friday, March 1 or until we have reached our maximum number of vendors.

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and set-up details will be provided at a later date, closer to the event.

Thanks and we hope to see you there!
