November 6, 2023
Hey there!
You made it to November, girl. Give yourself a pat on the back or maybe a vacation -- whatever you're into, just take a moment to acknowledge yourself in this moment. Waking up daily and doing all the things takes physical strength, mental fortitude, and an encouraged spirit.
We are applauded for our strength, aren't we? Yet, most of our members are looking for one thing: safety.
Spiritual safety is often a top priority, with emotional safety equally important or a close second. Not everyone here is looking for a therapist, but maybe you are. Even if you're not, it's clear that people like you are ultimately looking for healing and perhaps willing to find it with more than one approach.
Spiritual safety is as much a priority here as mental and emotional health. There's a lot out there that's supposed to bring ease to the mind but ends up harming the soul more. Most people who are suspicious of therapists are painfully aware that mental health is hardly separable from one's spiritual worldview. Your spiritual self ultimately craves sound agreement with God ...and yet we have so many questions.
I can tell you now that this organization differs from most other mental health organizations. To help you understand this mission, here's a couple of things that we are not:
Our organization aims to educate and offer service spaces to give you options for the next step in your health journey. The coined phrase "Jesus and therapy" would be an understatement.
There are 16 ways that we bridge mental health and faith, all accessible from your account. If you haven't checked out your space yet, you should go to your account after reading up on some season's tips and events.
This newsletter will help you decide what you can do to go one step further in health and wholeness.
Sincerely,
Conscious at Flamingo
