OFFICIAL FEATURE DOCUMENTARY UPDATE - APRIL 2020 |
I'm happy to announce that we have signed with Gravitas Ventures for North American distribution rights! The contract currently covers the United States and Canada. |

Here is a quick comment about Gravitas Ventures from President Michael Murphy: “At Gravitas we have always taken pride in being a distributor that can connect the artist and the consumer... given the volume, diversity of programming, and refresh rate, we have one of the best value propositions in the marketplace today for fans of independent films and documentaries and plan to keep the offering fresh and new for years to come.” (Variety / March 19, 2019) |

So what does this mean for everyone that hasn't seen Return To Hardwick? This means that Gravitas Ventures is going to be working hard to get the film on digital platforms for you to watch in the comfort of your own home. I was very excited last year to take the film on "tour" and get the opportunity to screen at film festivals and museums. However, we now get the chance to bring the film to people that didn't catch us on the road. |

From the beginning, this film has been a grassroots project. Myself and the 93rd Bomb Group knew we had something special with the stories from our veterans, archival photos and films, and the recent trip back to Hardwick airfield with next generation members. This production could not have happened with out the support of our 93rd family and friends. Their donations and support is what fueled this project and elevated it to this point - Thank you! The film is set to release this summer. Please watch for updates through this newsletter, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for further details. We hope to be securing foreign distribution rights in the near future. Michael Sellers Producer/Director Return To Hardwick |

OFFICIAL SELECTION NORMANDIE WORLD WAR II INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL |
It's a bitter sweet feeling that Return To Hardwick is an official selection at the Normandie World War II International Film Festival. We are of course honored to have been picked as "Outstanding Documentary Film" but received news shortly after the announcement that the festival had been canceled due to the COVID-19 global crisis. The festival would have taken place in Normandy, France at the D-Day Experience Museum. We thank the festival organizers, Tim Gray and the World War II Foundation for recognizing the film but fully understand the reasons for canceling the event. If you are interested to see what the festival had planned, please click below. |

MANAGING COVID-19 As I sit and write this, my wife and I are in our New York City apartment home schooling our daughter Charlotte. Like everyone else in the world, we have been directly affected by the COVID-19 virus. We are in our third week of staying indoors and only going out for groceries and some exercise (keeping the recommended 6 feet from others of course). We'd like to extend our support and "good vibes" to others going through this. As I talked to some of my fellow 93rd officers this past week - everyone is in good spirits and moving forward in the best possible way. Our good friend and narrator of Return To Hardwick Michael Cudlitz, has been sending out positive tweets this month. If you get a chance, click on the Twitter graphic above and check him out. It will lift your spirits. Stay Healthy! Michael Sellers Producer/Director Return To Hardwick |

RETURN TO HARDWICK SYNOPSIS The 93rd Bomb Group was the most decorated, most traveled and most effective bomb group of WWII. Helping to cripple Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids of the war. Along with the group's rich history - sons, daughters and grandchildren travel to England and explore the 93rd's long forgotten airbase - Hardwick Aerodrome 104. |
