What’s the story behind the name Turnbull Audio? |

The name Turnbull comes from our designer’s great great grandfather, formerly named William Augustus. While working in his field, the king’s carriage drove by his land. A neighbor’s bull charged the carriage, and William Augustus ran across the field to intercept the bull. Jumping on the bull’s back, grabbing it by the horns, he turned the bull away from the king, stopping the bull’s charge. The king, feeling his life had been saved, royally ascribed the last name Turnbull to William Augustus. Turnbull Audio embraces the spirit of controlling raw, natural power, by harnessing and refining raw electrical power. The name ‘Prestige’ is a reflection of the recognition that the king bestowed upon the family. It is as much a mission statement for the product line, as it is a name. Prestige products must perform to a truly special level. They should not be simply another flavor, style, or preference, but developmental break throughs. The current Prestige products represent 15 years of R&D, in which every single component of a cable has been tested and customized, and re-tested until the music shone through unfettered. |

SkipFest Audio Thesis will be holding an event October 19th in Arlington, TX. Officially starting at 12pm, we will have a couple special guests. Nathan Vander Stoep of Turnbull Audio and Vu Phan from Hi End Theater and Audio will be there from 12-3pm. During this time, you may schedule a private appointment with the two of them on Sunday for a personalized demo. This will be an all day event, extending into the evening, please feel free to join us when you are available. |

Capital Audio Fest In the Wilson room, The Voice That Is will be premiering Turnbull Prestige production cables, with TIDAL for Bugatti electronics and premiering the TIDAL AP-1 amplified speakers. In room 321, Audio Thesis will also premier Turnbull Audio Prestige cables with T+A electronics and Rosso Fiorentino Sienna speakers. |
