How can I get involved?
We try to provide monthly opportunities for our members to engage, network, and learn about the opportunities available in the aviation industry in our area. Check our calendar for upcoming events both chapter and non-chapter related.
Events have been added to the calendar for which we need volunteers.
Can you share your profession in aviation, aeronautics or engineering with students at the Great American Teach-In? We are in need of volunteers to speak in a couple of schools on Wednesday November 13 and Thursday November 21. Please reach out to us at waitampabay@gmail.com if you are available.
We have the opportunity to be represented at the 4th Annual Sunshine State Drone event on December 7, 2024
Last year's event was great fun with robotic displays, drone races and obstacle courses, and hands on activities.
Drone Event Volunteer
Do you have website experience? We could use your help and we are willing to train a committed and engaged member volunteer. Our website platform is WIX and it is very user friendly and easy to learn. Our Special Announcements are managed through the WIX platform as well. We also seek a creative and engaged member volunteer to help write this newsletter.
