Travel & Hospitality: Michelin Guide to Add Key Rating for Hotels Wow, the rating game is getting much more competitive! Hot on the heels of the new 50 Best Hotels, Michelin has announced it will be awarding "keys" to hotels starting in 2024. Michelin been working on the new distinction for four years, with the new iteration of the guide recommending more than 5,000 ‘remarkable hotels’ in 120 countries. According to a report from Agence France-Presse, Poullennec. hotels will pay a 10 to 15 percent commission to Michelin for bookings made through its website. Read more in the Washington Post.
