Spring has (almost) sprung and I feel like I've just come out of hibernation! It's lighter and brighter and my pottery calendar is suddenly busy. My first event of the season is in May at Dulwich Open House, followed by a three day teaching course at The Ceramic Studio in Kent where I think I'll be mainly showing students how to make a lot of mess! Then it's Surrey Artists' Open Studios where I'll have my studio in Farnham open and also have some work at the 'In My Mind's Eye' exhibition at the beautiful West Horsley Place. Straight after that it's Potfest at the beautiful Compton Verney near Stratford-upon-Avon. By which time we may be basking in hot sunshine! Details of all of these are below and I'll send you reminders nearer the time of the various events too. Meanwhile, enjoy those glimpses of sunshine! |

THE CERAMIC STUDIO The Old Workshop, Hononton Farm Furnace Lane, Brenchley TN12 7BX 17-19 May 2023 My first foray into running a course so I hope my students are patient.. This three day workshop will focus on throwing pieces such as stem vases and bowls, with porcelain. The pieces will be trimmed and then decorated trying out some of my mark-making techniques and helping students discover their own new ones. |

POTFEST BY THE LAKE COMPTON VERNEY 23, 24 & 25 June 2023 I'm excited to be exhibiting for my first time at Potfest by the Lake at Compton Verney. It will showcase the very best work from 92 acclaimed ceramic artists from a number of large, open-sided marquees on the immaculate lawns beside the main house and looking over the stunning lake.
