Meeting the Criteria - Advice for cover letters:
When writing your cover letter for a job application, you want to highlight how and why you fit their requirements for the position. This means tailoring your cover letter for what they're looking for, as stated in their job description or advertisement, and backing up your statements with clear and concise examples.
Oftentimes, when writing cover letters, we summarize our CV in paragraph form and send out copies of the same letter to every new job posting. My recommendation is highlighting how you meet their criteria and adapting your cover letter to each job application.
And remember, no one ever fits all of the criteria listed, so don't let a few bullet points stop you from applying, especially if you have most of what they're requiring. Instead, play up the areas in which you are an expert!
