HOPE IN THE MIDST OF CHAOSWith the onset of cold weather, life in Romania became more challenging every day. Because of the continued war at our borders, the cost of gas, electricity, water, food, and all other things necessary for existence continues to rise. We are so grateful to be able to respond to the needs for food supplies, care packages, and firewood to help needy families get through the winter! Even through these difficulties, Romanians keep their borders open for all the neighboring refugees pouring into our region as the war and new threats over the occupation of the Republic of Moldova are developing as we write this letter. Turkey's earthquake in the southeast has also caused great fear and dread across the region. Romania itself had multiple tremors in no seismic areas over the past few weeks! All these end-time occurrences are doing nothing else but opening great doors for us to point people to God, the only One who has answers and whose Word promises eternal hope! With spiritual hunger and sobriety, the response to the Gospel is noticeably evident as our message of salvation, hope, and freedom from fear is being spoken boldly! |

JOY AMID SADNESS No matter how dim the sight for tomorrow or how cold the winter is, the holidays always put a smile on people, especially children! We were so glad to have our son, his wife and our two granddaughters visit us this time! They helped us take care packages and went caroling to some underprivileged families in our community. Andrea inspired us with messages filled with joy and shared her knowledge and ministry resources with other leaders in the region and us! |

PREPARING FOR HARVEST The newly established Dobrogea Women Ministry had its second meeting, and we doubled the number of leaders who stepped out to lead new local women ministries! 2023 will be the year when many women will be reached and given support, encouragement, and teaching to become virtuous women of faith! Currently, we are preparing our Mother's Day event throughout the region by providing every attending woman with the book The True Measure of a Woman by Lisa Bevere. With spring weather on the horizon, it is time to continue construction at our Ostrov ministry site. Due to a missions team canceling their trip, Mike will take over the project to finish the interior work so we can have our facility ready for the summer outreaches. The Baneasa Community Center is now hosting an officially recognized church, "Ancora Pentecostal Church of Baneasa," as Mike has been assigned the pastoral position for the church and our outreach sites! We are celebrating this and are grateful to the Lord for the privilege of reaching and leading these beautiful Romanian people! |

PRAYER NEEDED Our team is saddened by the leaving of our MA, Todd Brosky, who will be returning to the States due to personal and family reasons. Please pray for Todd and our team! Pray that we will be strengthened and filled with passion and anointing and that our vision will continue to expand to the towns and villages surrounding us. As always, pray for workers, men, and women with a deep desire to reach the unsaved, even in the distant, forgotten, unreached towns and villages of Southeast Romania. In Christ, Mike and Ana Dascalescu |
