What is new?

The Lucy Project has officially received 501(c)(3) status a as a public charity! Woot woot! Thank you to our pro-bono attorney Evian White de Leon for her support and all her hard work!

Who do we love?

Jen Hill is an attorney, organizer, and educator. She has worked in immigrant rights, worker rights, and gender and racial justice organizations for more than 20 years. Currently, she directs Advocacy Partners Team.  She is also The Lucy Project's treasurer and advisor. Thank you Jen for helping us grow and for having been our first donor!

Leadership team

We will offer assessments and structured literacy reading remediation, this fall, at At CARE Elementary School.
CARE is committed to quality instruction by dedicated certified teachers, small classes with teachers’ aides in each class, technology embedded into the engaging curriculum and the ongoing support of volunteers.

What do we need?
 
We need friends to help us spread the word on social media. We are looking for volunteers to spearhead educational and fundraising sub-committees.  In-kind technology donations and pro-bono graphic designer, webmaster and an accountant are welcome.  Finally, we need financial donations.
