To our valued subscribers, friends and collaborators,
Our hearts go out to the many people in the world who are currently suffering due to the viral crisis. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by nature in the beautiful Kootenay Region of BC with nature apparently enjoying a brief respite from humans.
We would like to thank you for the continued interest, positivity and support of Aspen Grove Residences. This note serves to update you on our thoughts and where we are at with the development going forward during this turbulent time. We continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation daily and implement any changes as recommended by the federal and provincial governments. Our sister businesses, Keefer Ecological Services and Keefer Hazmat Services, remain open and have effectively switched our operations to that of virtual businesses in order for all to stay as safe as possible and still working.
Aspen Grove is dedicated to a successful project with minimal risks to us and those who purchase our housing offerings. Given the incredible global uncertainty at present, we have determined the best way to protect everyone is to pause offering units for sale until a new state of calm emerges.
We understand some buyers may be relying on their Aspen Grove home to be ready for 2020, if this is you, please reach out to us as we are happy to investigate moving forward if there is enough interest to initiate the construction of the Douglas Fir building.
In an attempt to help less fortunate Rossland residents in these difficult times, Aspen Grove has made a donation to the Rossland Food Bank and will consider others. We hope that our clients, friends and collaborators will consider doing the same.
To end on a lighter note, we want to share a social media movement gaining momentum here in the Kootenays that certainly warmed our ‘hearts’. Residents here are creating personalised window displays of Easter eggs, bunnies and cheerful messages for people of all ages to hunt or count to keep spirits up in the community. Have a look for these displays in vehicles, local businesses and around your neighbourhood! If you aren’t in the Kootenays (yet) check out the Facebook page with over 1600 + members who are sharing their photos - it will surely make you smile.
As a team, we look forward to the reduction and eventual end of this global viral chaos and wish all of you the very best in health,
Mike and Lizzy
