Ashley Wright received her Doctorate of Audiology from Rush University in Chicago. She joined the Phonak Audiology Research Center (PARC) in Warrenville, IL in 2018 as a research audiologist specializing in technical measurements and human subjects research for daily-wear devices.
Elizabeth Stewart joined Sonova in 2017 as a Research Audiologist. She obtained her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center and PhD in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University. She currently manages in-house studies examining products in early stages of development, in addition to various external research collaborations.
Jason Galster is Director of Clinical Research at Advanced Bionics overseeing the clinical investigation of emerging technologies, regulatory clinical affairs, and scientific collaborations. His research interests include audio signal processing for the treatment of hearing loss and measurement of outcomes with cochlear implants and hearing aids. Dr. Galster is an internationally recognized author, lecturer, and adjunct professor in audiology.
Emily Cardenas is the Manager of Clinical Product Research at Advanced Bionics (AB). She received her Au.D. degree from the University of South Florida and is a licensed Audiologist in the state of California. Her work is focused on the clinical evaluations of pre-market external hardware and software products at AB and provides the product readiness state, performance and usability of these products to the rest of the company.

Be on the lookout for an upcoming ASHA-RAISN collaboration! ASHA will be hosting an Instagram Live event with research audiologists on August 25th (more details to follow). The Instagram Live event will coincide with an ASHA Career Portal article that RAISN members have been collaborating on with ASHA. The article focuses on making the career transition from clinical audiologist to research audiologist.
As part of our efforts to increase awareness of research audiology in our professional organizations, we encourage any of you who are ASHA members with leadership experience to sign up for the ASHA Leadership Mentoring Program. Mentoring is a great way to increase the representation of research audiologists within our field!
