Hello, friends! A question I often receive is, “How do you juggle it all? How do you find balance?” My response is always the same: “I don’t.” In today's fast-paced world, we are constantly juggling careers, family, and health, all while handling the little things like folding laundry (my least favorite thing!). Yet through it all, we often overlook a fundamental truth: there's no such thing as perfect balance. Instead, it's the consistent effort, as well as the grace we grant ourselves when things fall, that genuinely brings harmony to our lives.

So, let's focus on consistency and self-compassion. Consistency means understanding that life is a journey and progress is made through perseverance, not perfection. Self-compassion is about treating ourselves with kindness in life’s chaos, especially when we stumble or fall short of our own expectations. By giving ourselves grace, we cultivate resilience and strength, enabling us to navigate life's ups and downs.

Celebrate the small victories, dear friends, learn from setbacks, and remember to give yourself grace along the way.

St. Patrick's Day Cookie Pre-Orders

Marshmallow Charm Sugar Cookie Recipe

Yields 12 Cookies

1 C Unsalted Butter

1 C Sugar

1 tsp Butter Vanilla extract

1 tsp. Almond emulsion

1 Large egg

3 C Flour

3/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. Baking Powder

1-2 C dehydrated mini marshmallows

 

Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg and flavorings (yes, both). Add dry ingredients, and mix well.

Roll out dough and refrigerate for 1-2 hrs. Cut out into desired shapes and bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

Royal icing: Add butter vanilla or almond emulsions (pick one this time!) to your unflavored royal icing.
