This month's surprise supply! I watched a youtube video about them and you know me, I see something new and I gotta try it! (Love you, ADHD, but gawd you're hard on my wallet sometimes.)

The tests with these went. SO SMOOTH. I was shocked!

I could lineart with these just as nice and even as my dip pens! I somehow managed to get the right paint viscosity on the first try, tho as with the G-Pen and Maru, the smaller-sized pen was scratchier to use.

I'm left-handed.

So you can imagine how important this discovery is; we push on our supplies instead of pulling when writing, for example.

Do they work with a mix of Gansai Tambi-style watercolor and mica?

They do!❤️

And this palette is how I found out!

Sure, it's ✨super cute✨ with the rose shape, but I wanted it because it is LOADED with wells. The imitation porcelain makes it not only affordable but also EASY to clean, which is a must, especially when dealing with mica.

Speaking of Mica, here's a nice deal! NGL I've been using mica powder for a lot of stuff, mixing it in clay for sculpting, or effect in watercolors as mentioned above, I appreciate the versatility of these! Get lil spoons or something though, they come in bags and trying to just sprinkle the stuff on your mixing medium is a baaaaaad idea.
