Now accepting nominations for the 2024 SCVVMA Board

We are now accepting self-nominations through October 15th for all board positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer). The election for our 2024 board will be held at our November 8th CE meeting.

If you are a new practitioner or want to build your leadership skills (business/ corporate/ nonprofit) in a low key, unscary environment, consider joining the SCVVMA board. It requires a very minimal time commitment, no prior knowledge or skills, and is one of the best ways to network in our area. If you have any questions or want to throw your hat into the ring, please get in contact with us.

Job posting:

Please note: The City of San Jose is offering paid part-time positions as well. For example, they recently had a vet join the team for surgeries for a few hours on Mondays. This is ideal for everyone--the increased surgery capacity helps move pets into homes and maybe be financially helpful to new vets or vets who want to keep up their surgery skills. Questions? Email: diana.gonzalez@sanjoseca.gov.
