OFFICIAL DOCUMENTARY FEATURE UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2019 II

HELLO TO ALL THE NEW SIGN-UPS!

Over the weekend with the release of the official Return To Hardwick poster on Facebook we got a lot of new people who signed up for email updates.

The 93rd Bombardment Group and myself, producer / director Michael Sellers, would like to thank you for your support and interest in this project.

Throughout this year we have plans to screen the documentary in museums, military bases and even local theaters in cities across the U.S.

Look out for these email updates once or twice a month and we'll keep you updated on how you'll get your chance to watch Return To Hardwick.

I reposted a few things from last week just to catch everyone up on some of the news.

Award Recognition from the Impact DOCS Awards

Last November we started submitting the documentary to film festivals.  This is usually the first step for a film to be seen by the public.  Even though the film was in the finishing stages we sent a rough cut to the Impact DOCS Awards and won!  We received a Merit award in the Special Mention category.  Please go to the links below:

Finishing Stages of the Project

Picture lock means that no more editing will occur on the film.  At this point all the notes and comments have been addressed.  The two producing companies of Return To Hardwick - Frankenbite Productions and The 93rd Bombardment Group Association -  have decided to move the project into the final stages of completing the film - this will include rights and clearances, color correction, and audio mixing.

 SYNOPSIS

The 93rd Bomb Group was the most decorated, most traveled and most effective bomb group of WWII.  Crippling Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids of the war.  Along with the group's rich history -  sons, daughters and grandchildren travel to England and explore the 93rd's long forgotten airbase - Hardwick Aerodrome 104.
