Relatives Meeting

Our Manager, Maria, would like to invite all relatives to our relatives meeting on Thursday 17th August at 2PM. We will be discussing updates in our Home, any upcoming events and we will have time for questions and discussions with our Resident's relatives.

This will be an in person meeting at Shannon Court, as most respondents to our relatives and friends survey prefer this.

We will make sure to provide feedback from the meeting in a follow-up newsletter if you cannot make the meeting.

We hope to see you all there.

Coffee Afternoon

Please be reminded we will be hosting a coffee afternoon on Thursday 20th July, where we will be serving refreshments and cake for all attendees. All Family members and friends are welcome to join us, we would love to see you all there if you can make it.

Please speak with Sam, our Activities Manager, for more details and to express your interest.

Family Fun Day- Beach Party

We will be hosting a Family Fun Day on Friday 28th July for family and friends of our residents. We're hoping the sun makes an appearance, so bring some flip flops (and maybe an umbrella!).

We are hoping to have a raffle and a tombola on the day, as well as a few stalls. If you are interested in running a stall, please get in touch with us!

If you are able to donate anything to our Home for the raffle and tombola prizes, we would highly appreciate it.

If you are interested in joining us, or if you need more information, please call us and ask to speak with Sam.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Laundry Request

Our laundry team would like to request that any clothes brought into the Home for your relative/friend be brought in a bag with a label including the resident's name. This is so the clothing can be marked. If you don't want the clothing to be marked by our team, the clothing must have clear labels or markings on them with the resident's name.

As you can appreciate, we have 77 residents in our Home and lots of clothes to launder each day. Without having labels on each item of clothing, they can be misplaced or kept in the laundry room until they are claimed.

We do not want clothes to be misplaced in our Home, so we would appreciate your cooperation with this.

If you would like to discuss this further, please ask to speak with Jill.

'All About Me' Profiles

If you haven't already completed an 'All About Me' profile for your relative or friend, please speak with Sam or Tracey when you next visit the Home.

These profiles help us to personalise the care we provide and also lets us know about personal preferences for each resident, such as what they like to eat and their favourite activities.

We have copies available at reception and we are happy to send them over via email if you prefer this.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you once again for joining our mailing list. We look forward to seeing you all again soon, stay safe!
