PRAISE and PRAYER REQUESTS:
One year ago on this day we took a big step of faith and officially moved out of the Friuli region of Italy to move into the Veneto region in the city of Mestre. We have had many challenges but God has been faithful to provide all our needs and get us established in His work in this new city.
We started by moving ourselves temporarily into a campsite bungalo in order to be closer to the city and better search the right apartment. It was no easy task to find something in our budget that was located in a good place for us to do ministry to the people of the city. A couple weeks went by while we were searching fulltime and in constant prayer but nothing! Then after waiting on God the right place came available and we were accepted.
After getting our things moved in we began slowly building up the evangelism ministry while getting to know the area. In this past year we have been blessed in many ways:
- We are now planted here and getting to know the mindset of the people.
- We are growing in love for the Venetian Italians.
- We are learning well the lay of the land.
- We are making new contacts.
- We have led some to the Lord - though now they have gone.
- We have presented/sowed the Gospel to many people
- We have testified of Jesus Christ to many people and are continuing.
- CC is growing well. Jeryvee is also making many contacts with our neigbhors and sowing the gospel.
- PMc is established and growing.
- We are laying the foundation for what will be, Lord willing, years of fruitful ministry in the people of this city.
