Time for Transformation

We have the opportunity to choose our own destiny regarding Florida's waters, instead of waiting, languishing, being forced to watch our home waste away, feeling powerless.

 We have the power to unite, despite the distractions of polarization, to continue sharing a common dream as Floridians and creating the way forward together.

 The burden of this feat, however, must be shared fairly among all who hope for a future of wise, science-driven, public-interest governance for Florida's waters.

We've shifted operations a bit: Instead of burdening our volunteers with the sheer (and overwhelming) weight of 900k signatures by the end of November, we're dividing up the load.

Now, three separate efforts will be responsible for collecting at least 300k signatures overall -- certainly attainable if we all take this transformative time seriously.

Here's what this means to you:

This is a time for transformation -- to release fears of offending political relationships (likely the same ones conditioning us to be grateful for pittance). This is a time to let go of doubt in ourselves, in our own power, because political machines protecting polluter interests tell us to sit down. This is a time to stand up and answer this call we can all hear, and we can all do SOMETHING about. Let's trust in this moment -- a #WatershedMoment -- and be brave.
