Return to Competition - Scores accepted as of June 1st. It's time to get to work! While the return of shows will come as a relief to many of you, a return to competition is not risk-free. As a community, we all need to be vigilant. The objective is not only to reopen competitions, but also to keep them open. If we don’t individually and collectively do our part, we could find ourselves shut down again. None of us wants that. Please see Are You Ready to Show Again? in the May issue of Collected Remarks. Also, you can stay up to date on the USEF requirements on the USEF website at https://www.usef.org/media/coronavirus-resources We will set up a Zoom meeting with the recognized schooling show managers shortly (tentatively May 19 at 7:00 PM) to discuss the new requirements. USDF has invited our members to their GMO book club Zoom meeting with Janet Foy. The June book is “Dressage For The Not-So-Perfect Horse” by Janet Foy. We will be having a Zoom meeting with her to discuss it! The Zoom Meeting is scheduled for June 24th at 7:00 PM EST. Even with all these changes, some things remain the same. I'm forever grateful for this community and for this reliable method to communicate with you all. I treasure each one of your responses and thank you for sharing a bit of your day with me.
