Little Chalfont Coronavirus Update

Thank You all for your support and help so far!

Only another Three weeks to go (hopefully) (sigh). Is it just me or does it seem like we are living in a movie?

I went to the village yesterday and I just found it surreal. Although I have to say that all of the shops seem to have adapted things accordingly and it’s all working really well! That’s not the only thing that’s working well, the volunteering system is more or less running itself so thank you guys.

It is because of you, the amazing volunteers, the Little Chalfont Angels 🧚‍♂️who are so amazing, you have all pulled together, making sure that everyone gets their shopping and medications, so a BIG THANK You to you all.

Jo has been asked by the LC pharmacy specifically to help, which is amazing.

Most roads are covered and we have a few extra volunteers that are 'floaters' as we appreciate there may be times when you may not be available.

The fb group has been recognised and younger relatives who don't live in the area are also turning to us to help their vulnerable relatives. This works very well with electronic payments.

Please do keep us up to date on what's happening for you all out there.

Little Chalfont CoronaVirus Help was set up on 17th March 2020 and aims to assist our more vulnerable friends and neighbours who are confined to their homes during the Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak. We offer help with shopping, posting letters, collecting prescriptions or just a supportive voice at the end of a phone. We have named street contacts for most of the 70 plus roads in our Parish and over 400 members. When we receive a request

this is passed to the nearest street contact (or other named Volunteer) who’s ID has been confirmed.

If you are a volunteer who has not yet sent your ID Documents to this email address as yet please do so as soon as you are able to.
