Dear Friends, Members, and Colleagues, July is an extremely important month for FAPA. It is the final opportunity to register for FAPACon 24, and it is the month when our members select FAPA’s Board of Directors. Each board member is elected to serve a two-year term. Two of our board members have effectively served for the past two years and are running for reelection, and three additional members applied for their new candidacy to the board. Five board positions are available, so all five candidates may be elected to the board. Each FAPA member in good standing will receive an email with a link to a Google Forms ballot. Please cast your vote by July 18. Election to the board of directors will be by majority vote from the ballots received by the deadline. FAPACon 24 will kick off at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024. FAPA’s annual membership meeting will be held just before the conference begins. The meeting will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace in the Citron ballroom. This meeting is open to all FAPA members. Registration for the conference is not required. All FAPA members are encouraged to attend. We are working to make this year’s conference and awards celebration the best FAPACon ever! I hope to see each of you there. |
