Pre-Orders are Open!

A new year is upon us, and while it seems that winter just recently arrived it is already time to start planning for the upcoming growing season. But before we get into that, a few highlights from this fall.
 

The new driveway to our house as well as the new eggmobile were completed.

 

 

The new geothermal, automatic cattle waterer was installed and has been working well. We also cleaned out the manure piles from the cows winter pens and cleaned up several small brush piles around the yard. These were piled together and we enjoyed a large bonfire!

 

Hay and Straw made it home from the fields and is keeping the cows fed and warm.

Now for the planning part. We will, like last year, be taking pre-orders for our beef, pork, chicken and turkey. Currently that is the only way to buy those products.

Grass Fed/Finished Beef:

We are taking beef orders on a first come first serve basis until we are sold out (deposit required). They will be going to the butcher this fall, in September or October.

Forest Raised Pork:

We are planning to butcher pigs early and late summer but may have to cut back to just once depending on how many orders we receive. Order deadline is Feb.29th (deposit required).

Pastured Chicken:

If you would like to order chickens this year please fill out the order form and we will be in contact with you at the end of February to finalize what dates and get cutting instructions from you. Deposits won't be required until that time.

We will be raising Turkeys in time for Thanksgiving. Order deadline is Feb.29th (deposit required).

And finally; we do not like pushy marketing and therefore try to not bother our customers too much. At the same time we understand that ordering meat for several months down the road is not always on your mind right now, in the middle of winter. And since some of you have appreciated gentle reminders to complete your orders so you don’t miss out, we would be happy to kick you in the butt, ever so gently. Just reply to this email right now and let us know you'd like a reminder.
