We've grown from 2 students to 96 Campus Bound Scholars! |

Our 10th Annual Scholar Celebration was a happy family reunion! Current scholars, mentors, supporters and board members welcomed our newest scholars and their families and cheered for our recent college graduates. We hugged, we talked, we listened to speeches, talked some more then ate ice cream! |

While the numbers have changed, our one-to-one mentorship model remains the core of our program and the reason for our 95% college success rate - which is 3x the national average for first-gen students. Here is CBS mentor Vanessa Clay-Williams, head of guidance for Port Chester High School, with her newest mentee, Karen Yupangui who will attend SUNY Binghamton this fall. |

Crystal McFarlane, a May graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, gave a wonderful keynote speech about her college journey and how her CBS mentor provided much needed support during challenging times. We're so proud of Crystal's grit and determination, and her ultimate success as she begins her career as a Systems Engineer for General Dynamics this month. |

The Student Panel was a highlight! William Phillips, one of 5 program alumni to pay it forward as a mentor to a younger scholar, moderated the panel of upper-class students and college grads. They did a wonderful job sharing tips and advice to help the newest scholars transition to college life. |
