Sausalito's Housing Committee is holding a "Virtual Townhall" on Monday, May 9th, 6-8pm

 

The last Townhall several months ago was formatted as an online exercise of typing in answers to questions that were asked.  We need as many working waterfront advocates as possible to participate.   Our numbers matter!  

 

Please participate in the virtual Townhall  to share your opinion verbally or participate in the on-line comment exercises.  The city has an RSVP link HERE.  

This Info Sheet provides a summary of why our boatyards should be protected and EXPANDED.

 

If possible please comment about removing sites 21, 26, 31 16 and 12  from consideration for housing (see map below).

The documentary provides a point-in-time tour of some of the craftsman, fabricators, artists, maritime workers, and educators in our waterfront and industrial zones.  The film is approximately 75 minutes. and highlights how Sausalito's working waterfront provides good jobs, marine services, a culture of artists along with apprenticeships and STEM educational opportunities for kids.  Mask is required for this screening.
