Teacher Appreciation Week
Hickory PTA would like to thank the Hickory community for a successful Teacher Appreciation Week!
Teachers were showered with appreciation all week long from their students. We were also able to fill the staff lounge with a variety of treats and goodies. Special thanks to all the families who donated snacks and desserts throughout the week! We could not have done this without your generosity.
A very BIG THANKS to our Teacher Appreciation Week Program Chair, Keri Kaba-Dien for an AMAZING job at making our teachers and staff feel appreciated!
Blue Ribbon Week & Bike Rodeo
Thank you to Christina Choi and Christopher Maleki for organizing Blue Ribbon Week to celebrate our local heroes and for organizing the Hickory Bike Rodeo!
We had a record number of Bike Rodeo participants this year; 65 total from grades 3rd to 5th!
Special thanks to Torrance Police Officer Scott for taking the time to attend and speak to our students about the importance of bike safety. Our winners will advance to the district level at Victor Elementary School on May 7th to compete against other TUSD schools.
Jog-A-Thon
