Who is excited for Spring? I know I am! Coming up in March we have Jethro Tull at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon, the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon, and a Rock Concert in the Estoril Casino, plus many other musical acts to enjoy. There's also a Disco for the 50+ on March 14th @beachclubcascais - €10 entry gets you a welcome Proseco drink. Lastly, it's been fun to watch the Portugal Women's Football Team crushing it in Estoril. I recommend supporting this kick-ass team, and thank you for sharing your "best-view" balcony @foodtravelist

Things of Interest

New places are constantly popping up in Cascais. One Market is going to be a gastronomic hub with sushi, ceviche, tapas, and a Pasta Non Basta. The official Grand Opening is set for April. In the coming weeks, a Pasta Non Basta restaurant, The Butler gastrobar, the Boutique del Jamon, as well as a sushi restaurant and a cevicheria, will open. The project is being developed in partnership with DNA Cascais, who will schedule regular events and experiences at One Market.

The Cascais district could soon be adding mineral rich seaweed to the kid's school menu as a healthy choice. And as a healthy choice for your pets try Cooka's Cookies — nourishing, all-natural treats and even birthday cakes for your furry friends.

Lastly, go check out "Arte na Freguesia" which runs until 22nd March, and you'll have a chance to bid on "As Portas de Cascais" (The Doors of Cascais) and also to buy other paintings by local artists.
