PLEASE make sure you're loading this entire edition of The Herald! Depending on your device, The Herald may be getting "clipped" and not fully loading. The very last things you should see are the P.O. Box address and "Visit the Website" link at the bottom. If you're not seeing this, there are two things you can try. At the very top of the Herald, click on the option to View in a Browser. If that doesn't work, look for "View Entire Message" where it looks to be the end/bottom of The Herald. You should be able to click and load the rest of The Herald. Hopefully this helps some of our members, who haven't been able to hear about all of the awesome things that the Matlacha Hookers have going on! |

A note from our Vice Madam, Carolyn: We wanted to inform you of a change in our upcoming meeting location. Due to the responses in our member survey requesting meetings to be held in Cape Coral, we'll be having our March General Meeting at Overtime Pizzeria & Sports Pub, located at 1708 Cape Coral Parkway W in Cape Coral. The meeting room will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. While we won't have access to a buffet as originally planned, I'm pleased to share that the management at Overtime Pizzeria has agreed to accommodate us by allowing table orders for pizzas as well as a cash bar. Please note that the management has also informed us that a 20% gratuity will be added to our checks for our private server. Kindly keep this in mind when planning your expenses for the meeting. Looking forward to seeing you all at Overtime Pizzeria & Sports Pub. |

The Greater Pine Island Alliance (GPIA) is going to be offering Camp Noah next month at Saint James City Civic Center. Camp Noah is a nationally acclaimed resiliency and preparedness program for disaster-impacted children. They are really in need of volunteers. The volunteers will help provide a safe, caring and fun environment where children have the opportunity to build resiliency skills. Volunteers will do this by utilizing a proven curriculum designed to help children process their disaster and/or trauma experience through creative activities, person-to-person engagement, and play. The dates for Camp Noah will be March 18 – March 22 and the hours are 8am-4:30pm. They REALLY need volunteers. Please click below to view the flyer and for information about signing up to help. |
