Kiss Your Home at Heart Muse

Kissing the Muse is a playful, empowering, imperfect dance down the creative path — with scissors and glue stick in hand.

In this whimsical workshop for personal transformation, you'll connect with your truth and purpose by "kissing" your inner muse. The muse is a wise and inspiring constant guide that can provide the insight and direction you need for navigating life's wild twists and turns. Through an intuitive collage-making process and playful kiss & tell ritual, we'll collectively kiss the Home at Heart Muse — the first in a 12-phase cycle of change — otherwise known as life's Messy, Magical, Creative Adventure. The Home at Heart Muse reflects your daily routine and its influence on your mind, body, and soul. She’s the arrow on the map that points: You are here!

We'll co-create a safe, encouraging space for authentic self-expression, deep personal reflection, creative exploration, and play. But be forewarned, the muse has a mind of her own, and even a peck on her cheek could change your life — for the better. So grab a glue stick and pucker up. The magic is about to begin!

No artistic skill or previous experience is necessary. 

THIS IS A HYBRID WORKSHOP. For those attending in person, materials and refreshments are provided.

3-4 Glossy magazines with lots of images (that you don't mind cutting up)

Scissors

Glue Stick

3-4 sheets of printer paper folded in half and glued (or several A5-sized pieces of cardstock

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Robbyn Layne is a freelance writer and transformative teaching artist. Her heartfelt passion is to inspire others to embrace and express their innate creativity, wisdom, and power. She is the author of The Magical Art of Kissing Your Muse (an online creative mentorship course) and creator of The Messy, Magical Muse Deck - Illuminate Your Creative Path to Happiness (available December 2023). Robbyn earned an MFA in New Practices, an MA in Transpersonal Clinical Psychology, and a BS in Journalism. She lives in Amsterdam with her British love and Dutch cat and works at Kissing the Muse. Founded in 2014 in the Netherlands, her boutique consultancy provides writing, editing, and bespoke creative well-being programs for clients internationally.
