Happy World Oceans Week! Thank you for your interest in the Sea Forward Ocean Health Fund at ImpactAssets. Sea Forward Ocean Health Fund (SFOH) is a collaborative multi-donor advised impact fund that is deploying 100% philanthropic dollars to invest in companies, funds and nonprofits that sustain a vibrant and healthy ocean, the life support system for our planet. Through the fund, we are engaging a network of scientists, educators, philanthropists, and investors to include more people in collaborative decision-making, investing, and grant making for greater collective impact. We are excited to share some of our current impact investments and grants.

What is Impact Investing? Impact Investing is Investing with the specific objective of achieving positive social and/or environmental impact as well as financial return. We see this as an opportunity to invest in well being of people, the health of our planet, and prosperity to create an "everblue" endowment for the ocean. |

Their diverse portfolio supports companies and projects in seafood alternatives, disease mitigation, feed ingredients, waste energy conversion, and more. |

Hatch Blue Revolution Fund focuses on investing in impactful sectors, such as next-generation farming systems, regenerative farms, alternative seafood, aquaculture ingredients, nutrition, farm software/hardware, health and genetics. They are working with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) as a third party to assess the environmental impacts and social relevance of investments. |

Scoot Science is an ocean data analytics startup investing in aquaculture solutions. Scoot uses their team of oceanographers, data scientists, and software engineers to help fish farmers protect assets, operate sustainably, and increase profits. Their new platform, SeaState, puts environmental, inventory, and operations data into site-specific ocean forecasts that have reduced some farms' daily mortality by 35%! |

We are happy to announce our first matching grant to support reef health and fish biomass studies in Misool Marine Reserve in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. Misool Resort and Misool Foundation, are protecting the world's richest coral reefs and this grant will help to support that important work. |
