It has been such a great and memorable school year within our little community! There may only be two weeks left of the school year, but we have lots planned between now and then (hello, rummage sale and end of year picnic!) plus, we plan to connect over the summer with scheduled summertime play dates at local playgrounds. |

DCP Community Day - May 6, 9am-12pm |
|
|
DCP Community Day is Saturday May 6th and that will be our largest opportunity to raise funds for our children this year. There are so many exciting brainstorms floating around for classroom materials and enrichment experiences for next year and we want to make as many of them as we can a reality! How can YOU help your DCP Community? 1. Help out at the event itself (Volunteer Sign-ups) and share the event information with your friends/family 2. Bake a treat for the bake sale. Please package items as servings and label allergens. You can drop off bake sale donations in the McCoy Room: on Friday 5/5 from 9-11:45 AM; on Friday 5/5 from 6 PM - 8 PM on Saturday 5/6 (by 8:45 AM please): to keep our offering fresh!
3. Attend! Wear your DCP gear if you have any. Ms. Mary and Ms. Jen will be leading students in a short singalong and parade starting at 10 AM and don't forget to find Ms. Emily with your completed Animal Book Bingo card.... your kiddo deserves a prize for all that reading! |

On Friday, May 19, we will celebrate the end of the schoolyear with our annual End of Year Picnic. It will take place at the Shelter House at Mingo Park from 5:30-7:30pm. We will have tokens for free ice cream provided by Little Ladies, a magic show from our very own Magic Nate, and lots of fun and memories to be had! Please RSVP via the signup so we can have a ballpark on how much food to provide, but make sure to bring your own drinks. We look forward to seeing our community come together one last time this school year. |

Thank you to the Stabbert Family! |

Thank you to the Stabbert family (Evelyn, preschool) for the generous use of a new vacuum. It will come in so handy for our weekly cleanings to ensure we get the classrooms clean for everyone. |

When our teachers were at their OAEYC conference, they learned about an app called Vroom. It will send notifications to users with suggestions to help increase daily language exchanges or make them more meaningful. Vroom Tips™ help you do more with your shared moments. Add learning to mealtime, bathtime, bedtime, or anytime with 1,000+ fun, free activities. |
