Livestock Projects & Class Info
All information regarding class dates and times can be found at the links above. General rules for Livestock classes can be found online as well. Reminder - if a member has registered for a show or class and they have since decided that they will not be attending please let the 4-H Office know ASAP.
Home Economic & Life Skill Projects (aka. Non-Livestock Projects)
If a member would still like to submit a tangible project to be included in the 4-H display at the Exhibitions mentioned above it can still be dropped off to the Fair Grounds in Dundas or Evangeline.
In case you missed the June newsletter: 4-H PEI has something called the "Exhibition Circuit" in the summer. This term describes the "circuit" that 4-H projects follow throughout the summer. Projects can be dropped off at the Provincial 4-H Office, Crapaud or Alberton to begin (see Upcoming Dates). From there they travel to Old Home Week, Dundas and finish off in Evangeline.
At each Exhibition the projects are set up and judged. Note - project items that are too big, food items and cake decorating must be dropped off and picked up at the appropriate times (see links above for individual Fair info). Members who place 1st - 5th will be awarded prize money. At the end of the summer project items will be returned to members. We take pride in displaying 4-H members' work! If you are unsure what project item you are permitted to send - visit this link.
